CHAIN Combat Practice A 20-Minute CHAIN Practice Routine
Timed sets so you leave the gym better, not tilt-queued into Enraged.
CHAIN Combat Practice only works if you stop after a win streak. This routine is 20 minutes. It assumes you already know controls and you already capped FPS (FPS settings). If you have never opened the simulator, do getting started once, then come back.
Timer
| Minutes | Work | Success looks like |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2 | Load in, confirm FPS overlay ~60, pick Machete | Number is stable, not 240 |
| 2–8 | Machete parries only | 10 clean trades in a row |
| 8–12 | Machete block QTE or Machete+ perfect/imperfect | You can tell perfect from spam-F without the damage popup |
| 12–17 | One special: Tomahawk or X-Saw | One win with no panic mash |
| 17–20 | Optional: one choke/strength mash if the dummy supports it | Bar empty? Stop swinging |
When the timer ends, leave. Queue Survival or close Roblox. Grinding 40 X-Saw losses installs a flinch that combat stamina cannot fix.
Rules that keep the clock honest
- One special per session. Tomorrow you can pick the other. See Tomahawk and X-Saw.
- No autoplay. If you needed a bot, you needed a slower set, not autoplay scripts.
- No weapon you cannot buy. Practice the blade you will actually take into the night (weapon tiers).
- If you lose three specials in a row, drop back to Machete parries for the rest of the timer. Ego is not a bind.
Warm-up if you already know the dummy
Skip the two-minute load check only if last session’s overlay screenshot is still 60. Do not skip Machete parries. Specials without a warm bar are how people call Tomahawk “inconsistent.” The axe is consistent. Your combat stamina is not. See combat stamina.
If you won yesterday’s special first try, still do the eight-minute parry block. Winning once is not a rank. The tier list does not move because you had coffee.
Three-day cycle
- Day A: Machete + Tomahawk special.
- Day B: Machete+ blocks + X-Saw special (no spam on step one — X-Saw QTE).
- Day C: Export only. Private Survival server, same FPS cap, same binds. No new weapons. Notes on how to beat CHAIN.
Skip Day C if you cannot yet win the Day A/B special on command. Public nights are not a teacher.
If the trainer is missing a prompt
Early access. Winchester might not be in your build. Use Day C on a CHAIN private server for that kit and keep the gym for Machete/saw/axe. Check patch notes instead of sitting in the menu for 20 minutes.
After the 20 minutes
Write one sentence: which action emptied combat stamina, which action lost a QTE. That sentence is tomorrow’s opener. If the sentence is “FPS was uncapped,” you did not do the routine; you did a highlight reel. Write the sentence in the same language you queue in, keep it to one line, and put it next to the weapon you will buy — not next to a fantasy loadout from the tier list. Tomorrow you only change that one line.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Can I run this on mobile?
Yes, but swap X-Saw specials for extra Machete+ imperfect sets until you have a claw grip or pad.
What if I only have ten minutes?
Do the Machete parry block only. Skip the special. A rushed lunge teaches the punish, not the win.
Should I use scripts to finish the sets faster?
No. The sets exist to put the keys in your hands.
When do I add Winchester?
When your gym or private server actually has the prompt. Do not pantomime it.
